Let’s be honest, I’m not that interesting.  I’m in my 30s, still in school with no end in sight (special thanks to the Economy for eliminating all the jobs), you know how it is.  But I read tons of interesting things.  So instead of blogging about the things I do, I’m going to blog about the things I read.  And if I happen to do anything interesting by accident, I’ll throw that up here to.  I don’t figure anyone will mind because everyone who reads this probably already knows me.  Readers not answering this description will most likely be confused high school students doing research for English papers who ended up on this page because it has “reading” in the title (here’s a tip kids: blogs don’t count as scholarly sources – if you cite me you’ll get a bad grade, even if I did say something cool about Conan).  Reading selections will include pulp-era fantasy (by which I mean pre-Lord of the Rings), science fiction, science non-fiction, and whatever else I happen to feel like at the time.  I also gladly accept recommendations because there are so many more bad books than good books out there that wading through the trash to find the gold can be a real chore, so I’m happy to let someone else do it for me.
